Blumenthal, Project Manager, MecTavish & <br />MetDuff Development Company, requesting a time extension in which to cemplete the condi- <br />tions of approval under ZoninS Case R-29-878, relatinS to approximately 2.5 acres of <br />land at 7714-18 Indiana Avenue, situated on the southeasterly side of Indiana Avenue <br />northeasterly of Jefferson Street. The City Council approved a zone change from Zone <br />R-1-65 to Zones C-3-S-2-X on Berth 15, 1988; and this is the second request for a rime <br />extension. This case has been active less than five years and is eligible for a one- <br />year time extension without a public hearinS. The time extension was granted to <br />March 15, 1992. <br /> <br />CITY E6aqAGER <br /> <br />GRAFFITI ABATEMENT PROGRAM- CONTINUED <br />In consideration of the recommendation from the City Manager, presentation of the report <br />relative to the City of Los Angeles' graffiti program was continued until April 9, 1991. <br /> <br />CANCELLATION OF LOAN AGREEMENT - DE VONNE ARMSTRONG <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Assistant Director for <br />Business/Community Development, concurred in by the Development Director and the As- <br />sistant City Mendget-Development, recommending that the City Council approve the can- <br />cellarion of the $75,000 loan aZreement with DeVonne Armstrong relative to upgradinS the <br />exterior of his property at 2833 University Avenue. The recommendation was approved as <br />p re sent ed. <br /> <br /> REORGANIZATION OF THE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT - RESOLUTION <br />; A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Development Director, con- <br />s curred in by the Assistant City Manager-Development, the Assistant City Manager and the <br />s Personnel Director, recmndinS that the City Council (1) approve the organizational re- <br />s structurinS and budget amendments necessar7 to teassign programs previously conducted by <br />s che HousinS Division to the Redevelopment, Business/Community Development and Finance/ <br />sAdministration Divisions within the Development Department, effective March 1, 1991; <br />s(2) approve the transfer of the HousinS/Neighborhood Improvement and Business/Community <br />s Development Divisions to the new Community Development & Neighborhood Conservation Divi- <br /> sion and authorize the transfer of the Development Coordinator position and associated <br /> <br />,Motion <br /> Second <br />, Ayes <br />,Not Voting <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />;All Ayes <br /> <br />IXI <br />I <br /> <br />76-365 <br /> <br /> <br />
