C. Schulz, Trustee; United States Postal Service; Security Pacific National <br />Bank, Trustee; Bank of America; Riverside Towns Center No. 1; Firestone Real Estate <br />Leasing Company; Mobil Oil Corporation; and Milton W. Stratford, Trustee, concerning the <br />purchase of the property located along Tyler Street from the 91 Freeway to Hole Avenue <br />and alon~ Magnolia Avenue from 200 feet wast of Tyler Street to 200 feet east of Van <br />Buren Boulevard. <br /> <br />The Mayor and MemBers of the City Council recessed to the Conference Room adjoining the <br />Council Chamber. <br /> <br />The Mayor and Members of the City Council returned to the Council ChamBer. <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Romayne Chtnnock representing the <br />Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Kathleen Blanktnship representing the La Sierra Chamber <br />of Commerce, Fred Butler representing the Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce and Tina <br />Robinson representing the University-Canyon Crest Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />ABSENCE FROM CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Councilman Loveridge advised the City Council that he <br />meetir~ of March 26, 1991, as he will be out of town. <br /> <br />will not Be present for the <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The followin~ items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar for considera- <br />tion, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item. <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS AND ZONING ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />ZONING CASE V-109-901 - BERTHA GONZALEZ - 7295 MARGUERITA <br />A communication was presented from the Board of Administrative Appeals and Zoning Ad- <br />Justment advising that, on February 25, 1991, the Board, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, <br />approved subject to conditions the request of Bertha Gonzalez, Zoning Case V-109-901, <br />for the following variances to construct an approximate 1,911-square-foot, one-story <br />sin~le-family dwelling at 7295 Marguerita Avenue, situated on the northerly corner of <br />Esperanza Street and Marguerita Avenue, in Zone R-1-65: (A) to allow construction of a <br />dwelling on a lot containin~ approximately 4,775 square feet in area where a minimum of <br />5,000 square feet is required; (B) to allow construction of a dwelling on a lot having <br />approximately 47.5 feet of width where a minimum of 50 feet is required; and (C) to <br />allow the dwelling to encroach approximately two feet into the required ten-foot street <br />side yard setback. The Board's approval was upheld by the City Council. <br /> <br />PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />ALUC APPEAL - CASE ALUC-10-901 - 4211 MONROE <br />A communication was presented from the Plannlng Department relative to the appeal of <br />Antonio Artsaga of the decision of the Riverside County Airport Land Use Commission that <br />a proposed building permit for a single-family residence located at 4211 Monroe Street, <br />situated on the northerly corner of California Avenue and Monroe Street, is inconsistent <br />with the Airport Land Use Plan, Case ALUC-10-901, recommending that the City Council <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br />,X <br /> <br />76-345 <br /> <br /> <br />
