CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br /> <br /> COUNCI LMEMBERS <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Meeting of the Clty Council <br />Date of Meeting: February 19, 1991 <br />Time of Meeting: 9 A.M. <br />Place of Meeting: Council Ch~r, City Hall WARDS <br /> <br />Roll Call: Present X X X X X'X'X <br />The Invocation ~s given ~ Council~n Os~rne. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br /> <br />MI~ S <br />The Minutes of the Meetings of Febr~ 13, 1991, ware approved as su~it=ed. <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br />Mayor Frizzel and Fire Chief Greene presented a Proclamation to representatives of the <br />Assistance League of Riverside in recognition of the donation of trauma bears to the <br />Fire Department Public Relations Program. <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Rance Garrett representing the Riv- <br />erside and Magnolia Center Chambers of Commerce, Rich Biber representing the Arlington <br />Chamber of Commerce, Mark Haworth representing the Hunter Park-Northside Chamber of Com- <br />merce and Gary Cordrey representing the University-Canyon Crest Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar for considera- <br />tion, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item. <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADMINISTRATIVE APFEALS ~ ZONING ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />ZONING CASE V-133-901 - RON WATERS - 11056 BUSRNELL <br />A communication was presented from the Board of Administrative Appeals and Zoning Adjust- <br />ment advising that, on January 28, 1991, the Board, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, ap- <br />proved subject to conditions the request of Ron Waters, Zoning Case V-133-901, for the <br />following variances to construct an approximately 1,806-square-foot duplex with two addi- <br />tional uncovered parking spaces at 11056 Bushnell Avenue, situated on the southeast side <br />of Bushnell Avenue southwesterly of Doane Avenue, in Zone R-3: (A) to delete common <br />open space requirement; and (B) to allow one 7.5-foot by 15-foot compact parking space <br />where no compact parking spaces are permitted. The Board's approval was upheld by the <br />City Council. <br /> <br />ZONING CASE V-115-901 - LAWRENCE SHARPE - 2465 ROLLING RIDGE <br />A communication was presented from the Board of Administrative Appeals and Zoning Adjust- <br />ment advising that, on January 28, 1991, the Board, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, ap- <br />proved subject to conditions the request of Lawrence Sharpe, Zoning Case V-115-901, for <br />the following minor variance to construct an approximate 5,800-square-foot two-story <br />single-family residence at 2465 Rollin~ Ridge Road, situated on the northwest side of <br />Rolling Ridge Road easterly of Hawarden Drive, in Zone RC: to allow a two-story single- <br />family residence with a maximum height of approximately 31.5 feet where a maximum one- <br />story, 20-foot-high dwelling is permitted; and determined that the proposal would not <br />have a significant adverse effect on the environment. The Board's approval was upheld <br />by the City Council. <br /> <br />DESIGN REVIEW BOARD <br /> <br />CASE DR-69-901 - SHARPE RESIDENCE - 2465 ROLLING RIDGE <br />A communication was presented from the Design Review Board advising that, on January 23, <br />1991, the Board, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to conditions the plot <br />plan and building elevations for the Sharpe residence, a single-family residence to be <br />constructed at 2465 Rolling Ridge Road, situated on the northerly side of Rolling Ridge <br />Road easterly of Hawarden Drive, in Zone RC, Case DR-69-901.
