Mr. Snyder <br />presented a check in the amount of ~1,050 to the City Council representing the amount <br />collected for the event; and Mr. Bachman recognized the following Park and Recreation <br />Department employees for their contributions: Ric Catron, Bill Cooper and Dan Roberts. <br /> <br />Mayor' Frizzel called on Dennis Johnson representing the Riverside Chamber of Commerce, <br />who introduced Romayne Chinhock representing the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Pat Wood- <br />* ruff representing the Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce, Steve Berry representing the <br />Hunter Park-Northside Chamber of Commerce and Jim Buckley representing the University- <br />Canyon Crest Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />'All Ayes <br /> <br />iCONSENT CALENDAR <br />} he following items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar for considera- ~Motion <br />T <br /> tion, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item. ~Second <br /> iAll Ayes <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />1991-92 CITY OF RIVERSIDE ORGANIZATION AND FUNCTIONS MANUAL <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Assistant to City Manager- <br />Budget presenting the 1991-92 City of Riverside Organization and Functions Manual pre- <br />pared by the Office of Management and Budget, which reflects the duties and responsibili- <br />ties of all currently authorized positions within the City organization on a departmental <br />basis. The Manual was received and ordered filed. <br /> <br />LEAVE OF ABSENCE - ELSIE M. RIVERA <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Assistant to City Manager- <br />Community Relations, concurred in by the Personnel Director, recommending that the City <br />Council grant Elsie M. Rivera, Administrative Clerk, Community Relations Division of the <br />City Manager's Office, additional leave of absence without pay until January 28, 1992. <br />The recommendation was approved as presented. <br /> <br />SCHEDULE OF CASH AND INVESTMENTS - INFORMATION REPORT <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Finance Director, concurred <br />in by the Assistant City Manager, presenting the Schedule of Cash and Investments for <br />the City of Riverside as of October 31, 1991. The report was received and ordered filed. <br /> <br />GENERAL FUND CONTINGENCY RESERVE <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Finance Director, concurred <br />in by the Assistant City Manager, presenting the status of the 1991-92 General Fund Con- <br />tingency Reserve as of November 12, 1991. The report was received and ordered filed. <br /> <br />1990 CERTIFICATES OF PARTICIPATION - NOTICE OF COMPLETION <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Finance Director, concurred <br />in by the Assistant City Manager, recommending that the City Council authorize execution <br />of a Notice of Completion on the construction of the parking structure at the Tyler Mall <br />adjacent to Hughes Alley, as defined in the 1990 Certificates of Participation issue. <br />The recommendation was approved as presented; and execution of the Notice of Completion <br />was authorized and directed. <br /> <br />77-175 <br /> <br /> <br />
