CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br /> <br /> COUNCI LMEMBERS <br /> <br />....1. ............................................... <br /> Roll Call: *Present 'X *X 'A 'X 'X 'X 'X <br /> <br /> In the absence of Mayor Frizzel, Mayor Pro Tempore Clarke called the meeting to order, <br /> and the City Council recessed to the Conference Room adjoining the Council Chamber to <br /> conduct interviews of candidates for appointment to City Boards and Commissions. <br /> <br /> MUNICIPAL MUSEUM BOARD <br /> Steven Kaufhold was interviewed for appointment to the Municipal Museum Board. <br /> <br /> Mayor Frizzel entered at this time, assumed the Chair and presided. <br /> <br /> John Vineyard, Bernard Wunsh and Lauretta Cortez were interviewed for appointment to the <br /> Municipal Museum Board. <br /> <br /> Councilman Loveridge and Mayor Frizzel left the Conference Room at this time, and Mayor ~A~ <br /> Pro Tempore Clarke presided. <br /> <br /> Steven Salzman was interviewed for appointment to the Municipal Museum Board. There <br /> being additional candidates to be interviewed later today, appointment to this Board was <br /> continued. <br /> <br /> PARKING, TRAFFIC AND STREETS COMMISSION <br /> Eleanor Lippman was interviewed for appointment to the Parking, Traffic and Streets <br /> Commission. <br /> <br /> Councilman Loveridge and Mayor Frizzel returned at this time, and the Mayor assumed the <br /> Chair and presided. <br /> <br /> John Lonberg, William Caloia, John Anderson, Enrique Martinez, John Northup, Claudio <br /> Averse, James Perry, Amy Wright and Edward Sarpy were interviewed for appointment to the <br /> Parking, Traffic and Streets Commission. Following completion of the interviews, John <br /> Lonberg was appointed to the Commission for a four-year term ending October 1, 1995; and <br /> 'X' <br /> William Caloia was selected as First Alternate, James Perry was selected as Second A1- Motion , , <br /> 'X' <br /> ternate, and Enrique Martinez was selected as Third Alternate, each for a one-year pc- Second ~ , , <br /> riod ending October 1, 1992. All Ayes X~ <br /> <br /> RECESS <br /> At 12:30 p.m., the Mayor and City Council recessed for lunch; and reconvened at <br /> 1:10 p.m., with all Members present except Councilwoman Mansfield, to conduct further in- <br /> t e rvi ewe. <br /> <br /> MUNICIPAL MUSEUM BOARD <br /> Kipp Smith and Harley Ross were interviewed for appointment to the Municipal Museum <br /> Board. Following completion of the interviews, Lauretta Cortez was appointed to the <br /> Board for a four-year term ending October 1, 1995; and Bernard Wunsh was selected as Motion IX, m <br /> , , , <br /> First Alternate, Steven Kaufhold was selected as Second Alternate, and Harley Ross was Second , ,X, <br /> selected as Third Alternate, each for a one-year period ending October 1, 1992.
