Mayor Frfzzel called on City Manger Jo~ Ho~es and ~rt~te Bass, Coordi~tor of the Employee Transportation Program, to present Certificates of Appreciation and quarterly prizes to winning participants In the Employee Transpo~atton Progr~. Mayor Frizzel called on Art Lilly, fou~er of the ~namty Otrl~ Soft~ll Program, to honor the 1991 D~sty soft~ll team for ~sting ;remendou~ competition from ~ltfo~ta to qualify for a berth ~o the ~ertcan Soft~ll Association Junior Ol~ic Nationals in Baltimore, MaUland, held August 7 through 11, 1991. This c~petttton is for girls from ten to 18 years of age and is comparable to the Little League World Series for baseball at tMs age.
