CITY OF RIVERSIDE Minutes of Date of Meeting: Time of Meeting: Place of Meeting: Regular Meeting of the City Council March 9, 1993 9A.M. Council Chamber, City Hall Roll Call: The Mayor called the meeting to order at 9:20 a.m. Councilmember Loveridge is attending the National League of Cities Conference in Washington, D.C. The Invocation was given by David Dodge, First Congregational Church. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. MINUTES The Minutes of the Meetings of March 1 and 2, 1993, were approved as submitted. The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Janice New- man representing the Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Romayne Chinnock representing the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Debbie Lorenzi representing the Downtown Chamber of CoE~erce, Marjorie yon Pohle representing the La Sierra Chamber of Commerce and Jim Buckley representing the University-Canyon Crest Chamber of Com- merce. CONSENT CALENDAR The following items, presented to the City Council on the Con- sent Calendar for consideration, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item; and with Coun- cilmember Tavaglione requesting his vote be shown as "Not Vot- ing" on the ordinance introduction regarding Case AM-001-923 relative to business park overlay zones because is it reason- ably foreseeable that the decision will have a material finan- cial effect on a source of income. CITY PLANNING COMMISSION CASE GP-004-923 - COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE - INDIANA SWLY. OF WASH- INGTON A communication was presented from the City Planning Commis- sion advising that, on February 18, 1993, the Commission con- sidered the request of the County of Riverside, Case GP-004- 923, for a determination as to whether its acquisition of approximately two acres of land located on the southeast side of Indiana Avenue approximately 200 feet southwesterly of Washington Street is consistent with the City of Riverside General Plan; and, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, (1) deter- mined that the proposed acquisition of the subject site for a health care center proposed for 7136-7156 Indiana Avenue is consistent with the City's General Plan; and (2) requested staff to forward these findings to the City Council for review and approval and, in turn, to the Building Services of the County of Riverside.
