Place of Meeting: Council Chamber, City Hall Roll Call: Mayor Frizzel called the meeting to order at 9:15 a.m. The Invocation was given by Marjorie von Pohle from the audi- ence. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. MINUTES The Minutes of the Meeting of December 7, 1993, were approved as presented. CONSENT CALENDAR The following items, presented to the City Council on the Con- sent Calendar for consideration, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item; with the cor- rection to the report relative to parking by Riverside Medical Clinic employees at Shamel Park to change the agreement termi- nation date from Februar~ 20, 1994, to February 28, 1994. CITY MANAGER BID NO. 5070 - LABORATORY ANALYSIS OF GROUNDWATER FROM TEQUES- QUITE LANDFILL A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Public Works Director, concurred in by the Assistant City Man- ager-Developeent, recommending that the City Council award Bid No. 5070 to Core Laboratories, Inc., in the amount of $45,173.12, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the work of laboratory analysis of groundwater samples from the Tequesquite Sanitary Landfill. The reconxnendation was approved as presented. All other bids were rejected, and the bonds submitted with said rejected bids were released from further liability; the City Attorney was requested to prepare the necessary contract; and execution of the contract was au- thorized and directed upon approval by the City Attorney of the required performance bonds. BID NO. 5087 - LINCOLN WIDENING AT GIBSON A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Public Works Director, concurred in by the Assistant City Man- ager-Development, recommending that the City Council award Bid No. 5087 to Riverside Construction Company, in the amount of $10,522, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the work of Lincoln Avenue widening at Gibson Street project. The recommendation was approved as presented. All other bids were rejected, and the bonds submitted with said rejected bids were released from further liability; the City Attorney was requested to prepare the necessary contract; and execution of the contract was authorized and directed upon approval by the City Attorney of the required performance bonds.
