CITY OF RI'VER,~IDB <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />Date of Meeting: Dec~m_her 21, 1993 <br />Time of Meeting: 9 A.M. <br />Place of Meeting: Council Chamber, City Hall <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Mayor Frizzel called the meeting to order at 9:15 a.m. <br /> <br />The Invocation was given by Marjorie von Pohle from the audi- <br />ence. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the Meeting of December 7, 1993, were approved <br />as presented. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items, presented to the City Council on the Con- <br />sent Calendar for consideration, were approved by one motion <br />affirming the actions appropriate to each item; with the cor- <br />rection to the report relative to parking by Riverside Medical <br />Clinic employees at Shamel Park to change the agreement termi- <br />nation date from Februar~ 20, 1994, to February 28, 1994. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />BID NO. 5070 - LABORATORY ANALYSIS OF GROUNDWATER FROM TEQUES- <br />QUITE LANDFILL <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the <br />Public Works Director, concurred in by the Assistant City Man- <br />ager-Developeent, recommending that the City Council award Bid <br />No. 5070 to Core Laboratories, Inc., in the amount of <br />$45,173.12, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment <br />for the work of laboratory analysis of groundwater samples <br />from the Tequesquite Sanitary Landfill. The reconxnendation <br />was approved as presented. All other bids were rejected, and <br />the bonds submitted with said rejected bids were released from <br />further liability; the City Attorney was requested to prepare <br />the necessary contract; and execution of the contract was au- <br />thorized and directed upon approval by the City Attorney of <br />the required performance bonds. <br /> <br />BID NO. 5087 - LINCOLN WIDENING AT GIBSON <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the <br />Public Works Director, concurred in by the Assistant City Man- <br />ager-Development, recommending that the City Council award Bid <br />No. 5087 to Riverside Construction Company, in the amount of <br />$10,522, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for <br />the work of Lincoln Avenue widening at Gibson Street project. <br />The recommendation was approved as presented.
