CITY OF RIVE~iDE Minutes of Regular Meeting of the City Council Date of Meeting: October 26, 1993 Time of Meeting: 2 P.M. Place of Meeting: Council Chamber, City Hall Roll Call: Mayor Frizzel called the meeting to order at 2:15 p.m. CONSENT CALEND~R The following items, presented to the City Council on the Con- sent Calendar for consideration, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item. CITY MANAGER MUNICIPAL PROJECTS - NOVEMBER 1993 A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Council Relations Administrator presenting the municipal pro- jects that will be in progress or completed during the month of November 1993. The report was accepted and ordered filed. PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT RELINQUISHMENT - VAN BUREN/ARLINGTON A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Administrative Services Director, concurred in by the Public Utilities Director, recommending that the City Council (1) ap- prove the relinquishment of the public utility easements lo- cated at the southeast corner of Van Buren Boulevard and Ar- lington Avenue; and (2) authorize the execution of a quitclaim deed to the property owner, subject to the conditions outlined in the report by the Board of Public Utilities. The recommen- dations were approved as presented. SECOND AMENDMENT TO REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR CENTRAL INDUSTRIAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT - SETTING JOINT PUBLIC HEARING - RESOL. A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Deputy Development Director, concurred in by the Assistant City Manager-Development, recommending that the City Council (1) adopt the appropriate resolution receiving the proposed Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the Central In- dustrial Redevelopment Project and the Redevelopment Agency's Report to the City Council on the proposed Second ~anendment; and (2) authorize setting a joint public hearing with the Agency on December 7, 1993, at 2 p.m. The recommendations were approved as presented; and Resolution No. 18362 of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, Receiving the Proposed Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan and the Redevelopment Agency's Report on the Second Amendment, and Consenting to and Calling a Joint Public Hearing on the Pro- posed Plan for the Central Industrial Redevelopment Project, was presented; and the title having been read, and further reading waived by the unanimous consent of Councilmembers present, was adopted.
