CITY OF RIVE~IDE Minutes of Regular Meeting of the City Council Date of Meeting: October 19, 1993 Time of Meeting: 9 A.M. Place of Meeting: Council Chamber, City Hall Roll Call: Mayor Frizzel called the meeting to order at 9:25 a.m. The Invocation was given by Marjorie yon Pohle from the audi- ence. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. MINUTES The Minutes of the Meeting of October 5, 1993, were approved as submitted. The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Steve Reeves representing the Greater Riverside Chambers of Com- merce. PRESENTATION Mayor Frizzel presented a Proclamation to Victor Yanasheski from the American Cancer Society declaring October 19, 1993, as Breast Exam and Mammography Awareness Day and declaring Oc- tober 1993 as Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the City of Riverside. CONSENT CALENDAR The following items, presented to the City Council on the Con- sent Calendar for-consideration, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item. CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ZONING CASE CU-038-834 (REVISED) - KAISER FOUNDATION HOSPI- TAL - 10800 MAGNOLIA A communication was presented from the City Planning Commis- sion advising that, on September 23, 1993, the Commission, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to conditions the request of Kaiser Foundation Hospital, Zoning Case CU-038-834 (Revised), for a revised conditional use permit to install two temporary office units, including a 466-square-foot mobile diagnostic trailer and a 720-square-foot modular building on approximately 37 acres of land at 10800 Magnolia Avenue, de- veloped with a hospital and medical center, situated on the southeast side of Magnolia Avenue between Park Sierra Drive and Polk Street, in Zone C-2; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the environ- ment.
