CITY OF RIVE~IDE <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />Date of Meeting: October 19, 1993 <br />Time of Meeting: 9 A.M. <br />Place of Meeting: Council Chamber, City Hall <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Mayor Frizzel called the meeting to order at 9:25 a.m. <br /> <br />The Invocation was given by Marjorie yon Pohle from the audi- <br />ence. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the Meeting of October 5, 1993, were approved <br />as submitted. <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Steve <br />Reeves representing the Greater Riverside Chambers of Com- <br />merce. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br />Mayor Frizzel presented a Proclamation to Victor Yanasheski <br />from the American Cancer Society declaring October 19, 1993, <br />as Breast Exam and Mammography Awareness Day and declaring Oc- <br />tober 1993 as Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the City of <br />Riverside. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items, presented to the City Council on the Con- <br />sent Calendar for-consideration, were approved by one motion <br />affirming the actions appropriate to each item. <br /> <br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />ZONING CASE CU-038-834 (REVISED) - KAISER FOUNDATION HOSPI- <br />TAL - 10800 MAGNOLIA <br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commis- <br />sion advising that, on September 23, 1993, the Commission, by <br />a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to conditions the <br />request of Kaiser Foundation Hospital, Zoning Case CU-038-834 <br />(Revised), for a revised conditional use permit to install two <br />temporary office units, including a 466-square-foot mobile <br />diagnostic trailer and a 720-square-foot modular building on <br />approximately 37 acres of land at 10800 Magnolia Avenue, de- <br />veloped with a hospital and medical center, situated on the <br />southeast side of Magnolia Avenue between Park Sierra Drive <br />and Polk Street, in Zone C-2; and determined that the proposal <br />would not have a significant adverse effect on the environ- <br />ment. The Commission's approval was upheld by the City Coun- <br />cil. <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS AND ZONING ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />ZONING CASE VR-071-923 - JUAN P.
