CITY OF RIVER~ZDE <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />Date of Meeting: October 5, 1993 <br />Time of Meeting: 9 A.M. <br />Place of Meeting: Council Chamber, City Hall <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Mayor Frizzel called the meeting to order at 9:20 a.m. <br /> <br />The Invocation was given by the Reverend Lee DeLeon, Templo <br />Calvario of Riverside. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the Meeting of September 21, 1993, were ap- <br />proved as submitted. <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Richard <br />Biber representing the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and Rob <br />Davis representing the Downtown Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br />Mayor Frizzel presented a Proclamation to Jane Carney, United <br />Way Campaign Co-Chair, declaring October 8 and 9, 1993, as <br />Days of Caring in the Inland Empire. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items, presented to the City Council on the Con- <br />sent Calendar for consideration, were approved by one motion <br />affirming the actions appropriate to each item; except for the <br />ordinance regarding parking prohibition on a portion of Rancho <br />Loma, which had been continued to October 19, 1993. <br /> <br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />ZONING CASE CU-004-923 (REV.) - DANNY PACIFIC - 10248 HOLE <br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commis- <br />sion advising that, on September 9, 1993, the Commission, by a <br />vote of 4 ayes to 1 no, approved subject to conditions the <br />request of Danny Pacific, et al., Zoning Case CU-004-923 (Re- <br />vised), for a revised conditional use permit to establish a <br />car wash facility on approximately .39 acre of land at <br />10248 Hole Avenue, developed with an abandoned fast food res- <br />taurant building, situated on the south side of Hole Avenue <br />northeasterly of Tyler Street, in Zone C-3; and determined <br />that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect <br />on the environment.
