CITY OF RIVER~ZDE Minutes of Regular Meeting of the City Council Date of Meeting: October 5, 1993 Time of Meeting: 9 A.M. Place of Meeting: Council Chamber, City Hall Roll Call: Mayor Frizzel called the meeting to order at 9:20 a.m. The Invocation was given by the Reverend Lee DeLeon, Templo Calvario of Riverside. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. MINUTES The Minutes of the Meeting of September 21, 1993, were ap- proved as submitted. The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Richard Biber representing the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and Rob Davis representing the Downtown Chamber of Commerce. PRESENTATION Mayor Frizzel presented a Proclamation to Jane Carney, United Way Campaign Co-Chair, declaring October 8 and 9, 1993, as Days of Caring in the Inland Empire. CONSENT CALENDAR The following items, presented to the City Council on the Con- sent Calendar for consideration, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item; except for the ordinance regarding parking prohibition on a portion of Rancho Loma, which had been continued to October 19, 1993. CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ZONING CASE CU-004-923 (REV.) - DANNY PACIFIC - 10248 HOLE A communication was presented from the City Planning Commis- sion advising that, on September 9, 1993, the Commission, by a vote of 4 ayes to 1 no, approved subject to conditions the request of Danny Pacific, et al., Zoning Case CU-004-923 (Re- vised), for a revised conditional use permit to establish a car wash facility on approximately .39 acre of land at 10248 Hole Avenue, developed with an abandoned fast food res- taurant building, situated on the south side of Hole Avenue northeasterly of Tyler Street, in Zone C-3; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse effect on the environment. The Commission's approval was upheld by the City Council.
