CITY OF RIVE~aIDE <br /> <br />Minutes of Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />Date of Meeting: July 20, 1993 <br />Time of Meeting: 9 A.M. <br />Place of Meeting: Council Chamber, City Hall <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />The Invocation was given by Pastor Cleveland Hobdy, The Mount <br />Rubidoux Seventh Day Adventist Church. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES - CONTINUED UNTIL LATER IN THE AGENDA <br />Approval of the Minutes of the Meetings of July 13, 1993, was <br />continued until later in the Agenda. <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Kathleen <br />Daley-Howe representing the Riverside Chamber of Commerce, <br />Steve Reeves representing the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, <br />Cyndi Hillman representing the Downtown Chamber of Commerce, <br />Chris Deurr representing the Hunter Park-Northside Chamber of <br />Commerce, Marjorie von Pohle representing the La Sierra Cham- <br />ber of Commerce and Brian Concannon representing the Magnolia <br />Center Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items, presented to the City Council on the Con- <br />sent Calendar for consideration, were approved by one motion <br />affirming the actions appropriate to each item. <br /> <br />PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />TIME EXTENSION - ZONING CASE RZ-053-890 - 11510 MAGNOLIA <br />A communication was presented from Vance Furukawa, Land Use <br />Manager, Kaiser Permanente, requesting a time extension in <br />which to complete the conditions of approval under Zoning Case <br />RZ-053-890, relating to approximately 11.5 acres of land at <br />11510 Magnolia Avenue, situated on the southerly corner of <br />Magnolia Avenue and Fillmore Street. The City Council ap- <br />proved a zone change from Zones R-1-65 and C-3 to Zones <br />C-2-S-2-X-20 for Parcels 1 and 3 and Zones C-2-S-4-X-20 for <br />Parcel 2, on June 12, 1990; a zoning case split was granted on <br />October 23, 1990; a time extension was granted on June 16, <br />1992; and this is the second request for a time extension. <br />This case has been active less than five years and is eligible <br />for a one-year time extension without a public hearing.
