CITY OF RIVE~aIDE Minutes of Regular Meeting of the City Council Date of Meeting: July 20, 1993 Time of Meeting: 9 A.M. Place of Meeting: Council Chamber, City Hall Roll Call: The Invocation was given by Pastor Cleveland Hobdy, The Mount Rubidoux Seventh Day Adventist Church. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - CONTINUED UNTIL LATER IN THE AGENDA Approval of the Minutes of the Meetings of July 13, 1993, was continued until later in the Agenda. The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Kathleen Daley-Howe representing the Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Steve Reeves representing the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Cyndi Hillman representing the Downtown Chamber of Commerce, Chris Deurr representing the Hunter Park-Northside Chamber of Commerce, Marjorie von Pohle representing the La Sierra Cham- ber of Commerce and Brian Concannon representing the Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce. CONSENT CALENDAR The following items, presented to the City Council on the Con- sent Calendar for consideration, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item. PLANNING DEPARTMENT TIME EXTENSION - ZONING CASE RZ-053-890 - 11510 MAGNOLIA A communication was presented from Vance Furukawa, Land Use Manager, Kaiser Permanente, requesting a time extension in which to complete the conditions of approval under Zoning Case RZ-053-890, relating to approximately 11.5 acres of land at 11510 Magnolia Avenue, situated on the southerly corner of Magnolia Avenue and Fillmore Street. The City Council ap- proved a zone change from Zones R-1-65 and C-3 to Zones C-2-S-2-X-20 for Parcels 1 and 3 and Zones C-2-S-4-X-20 for Parcel 2, on June 12, 1990; a zoning case split was granted on October 23, 1990; a time extension was granted on June 16, 1992; and this is the second request for a time extension. This case has been active less than five years and is eligible for a one-year time extension without a public hearing. The time extension was granted to June 12, 1994, retroactive to June 12, 1993. PURCHASING SERVICES MANAGER BID NO. 5032 - ANNUAL ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE SERVICE In consideration of the recommendation from the Purchasing Services Manager and the Administrative Services Department, the bid of Executive Elevator, Inc., in the amount of $46,980 for Option 3 (36 months}, was accepted for furnishing all la- bor, materials and equipment for the work of annual elevator maintenance service, July 1, 1993, through June 30, 1996.
