Cultural Heritage Board Agenda March 24, 2016 <br />COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE: <br />1 Public Comments: This portion of the agenda will be limited to a cumulative total <br />of 15 minutes, with individual speakers limited to a maximum time limit of 3 <br />minutes. Further discussion of any matter beyond 15 minutes will be continued <br />later in the agenda. If there is no one from the audience wishing to speak, the <br />Board will move to the next order of business. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />This portion of the Cultural Heritage Board Agenda is for all matters where staff and public <br />participation is anticipated. Individual audience participation is limited to 3 minutes. <br />2 PLANNING CASE P15 -0939: Proposed Certificate of Appropriateness request by <br />Darrin Olson of Mission Lofts, LLC to permit construction of a mixed -use <br />development, consisting of 212 residential units, 1,221 square feet of commercial <br />space, and 315 parking spaces, the project is bisected by University Avenue and is <br />generally located at 3052, 3032, 3008 Mission Inn Avenue, 3770 Commerce <br />Street, 2981 University Avenue and 3025, 3035 Ninth Street in the I -SP -CR — <br />Industrial — Specific Plan (Marketplace Specific Plan) — Cultural Resources <br />(Seventh Street East Historic District) Overlay Zones, BMP -SP -CR — Business and <br />Manufacturing Park — Specific Plan (Marketplace Specific Plan) — Cultural <br />Resources (Seventh Street East Historic District) Overlay Zones and the CR -SP — <br />Commercial Retail — Specific Plan (Marketplace Specific Plan) Overlay Zones, in <br />Ward 2. It is recommended that the Cultural Heritage Board recommend to the <br />Planning Commission adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration in conjunction <br />with this case.
