REPORT ON THE EXAMINATION OF NORTHSIDE PROPERTY 1TRANSACTIONS TO BE PRESENTED BY AUDITORS,, BAKER TILLY VIRCHOW KRAUSE, LLP That the Board of Public Utilities recommend that the City Council: 1. Receive and file the Report on Northside Property Transactions; and 2. Direct staff to implement any recommendations proposed by the auditors in their report. (presentation by Baker Tilly - 10 min) Jason Hunter You guys are off your rockers implementing Utility 2.0 last week before the Council has even approved it. Secondly, you don't have the authority to operate as a telecom utility. Third, the recycled water project you approved provides me personally with no benefit, and hence violates Prop 218 and 26. Y'all are poking the bear, 2016 is going to be a fun year. for me, RPU should recommend having me run its Office of Ratepayer Advocacy just so I can keep you guys from destroying this utility, which is a tremendous community asset. Jason Hunter Report does not address ANY of my concerns in my letter of 1014114 to this Board regarding AB Brown, Reid Park, or the former Riverside Golf Course. Report does not mention the lack of appraisal accompanying the 2009 transfer of Pellisier Ranch Woods Streets back to the utility from the General Fund. I sent an email and made a telephone call to the consultant to raise these issues, but Baker Tilly has not gotten back to me, Given these facts, I am somewhat skeptical that the consultant is qualified for this job and most likely the further audits they'll be conducting.
