The Budget Office presented (1) the results of a survey of cities in <br />California regarding how they handle security; and (2) a security survey conducted <br />by Norfolk, Virginia. The Mayor and City Council discussed the appointment of an <br />ad hoc committee to study the security information presented, obtain additional <br />information, and develop recommendations for improved security, to be presented to <br />the entire City Council. <br /> <br />The Mayor and City Council reviewed the progress on last year's goals and <br />objectives, identified achievements, and discussed their vision for the future of the <br />community. <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There were no oral comments presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge declared the City Council adjourned at 4:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />JOHN E.
