Ayes X X X X X <br /> Abstain X <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br />Mayor Loveridge, assisted by Police Chief Jerry Carroll, called upon Bill Smithey, Vice <br />President of Wells Fargo Bank, who presented a Plaque of Appreciation to Police <br />Officer Robert Tipre in recognition of his actions during a recent robbery and a $500 <br />donation to the Riverside Police Explorer POST. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar for <br />consideration, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each Motion X <br />item; with Councilmember Beaty disqualifying himself from voting on the agreement Second X <br />with Ericsson, Inc. All Ayes <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />TRACT MAP 28774 - OLD BRIDGE AND SUNBEAM <br />The City Council upheld the action of the Planning Commission in approving subject to <br />conditions the proposal of Land Development Consultants to divide approximately <br />23.7 vacant acres into approximately eleven single-family residential lots, situated <br />northwesterly of the intersection of Old Bridge Road and Sunbeam Drive, westerly of <br />the terminus of Apostle Lane in Zone RC and the Hawarden Hills Specific Plan; upheld <br />the Commission's determination that the proposal would not have a significant adverse <br />effect on the environment; concurred in the adoption of the Negative Declaration; and <br />determined that the proposed project could have the potential for adverse effects on <br />wildlife resources and the applicant is responsible for payment of Fish and Game fees <br />at the time the Notice of Determination is filed with the County. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />BID 5562 - FIRE STATION UNIFORMS AND ACCESSORIES <br />The City Council (1) awarded Bid 5562 to Greenwood's Uniforms, Inc., in the amount <br />of $58,578.29, for Fire Station uniforms and accessories for Battalion Chiefs, Captains, <br />Firefighters and Fire Engineers for the period July 1, 1998, through June 30, 2000; and <br />(2) authorized the Purchasing Services Manager to issue a purchase order for these <br />requirements. <br /> <br /> 83-337 <br /> <br /> <br />
