X <br /> <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />Mayor Loveridge called upon Ken Pimlot of the California Department of Forestry and <br />Fire Prevention who presented the Tree City USA award to the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge called upon Mike Baldwin, Public Utilities Assistant Director, who <br />acknowledged Russ Johnson, Substation Electrician, for his suggestion in having meter <br />technicians perform routine checking and testing of residential meters. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar for Motion X <br />consideration, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each Second X <br />item. All Ayes <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />ZONING CASE CU-037-978 - 7590 CYPRESS <br />The City Council upheld the action of the Planning Commission in approving subject to <br />conditions the request of Rod Perry on behalf of Hamblin's Body Paint and Frame <br />Shop for a conditional use permit to expand an automobile painting and body repair <br />shop on approximately 1.62 acres developed with an automobile dealership, service <br />center and auto body shop at 7590 Cypress Avenue, situated on the south side of <br />Cypress Avenue between Van Buren Boulevard and Montgomery Street in Zone C-3; <br />upheld the Commission's determination that the proposal would not have a significant <br />effect on the environment; concurred in the adoption of the Negative Declaration; and <br />found there is no evidence that the proposed project will have any potential for adverse <br />effect on wildlife resources and the impacts of the project are found to be de minimis <br />pursuant to Section 711.4 of the Fish and Game Code. <br /> <br />ZONING CASE MP-003-967 (REV.) - 799 PALMYRITA <br />The City Council upheld the Planning Commission's action in approving subject to <br /> <br /> 83-308 <br /> <br /> <br />
