Second X <br /> Ayes X X X X X X <br /> Abstain X <br /> <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />Mayor Loveridge presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Firefighter Chuck <br />Chostner, Public Safety Officer for the month of April, who was honored by the <br />Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce at Good Morning Riverside. <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge presented a Proclamation to Parliamentarian Charles H. Johnson and <br />Dean Brown, President of Riverside Society of Parliamentarians, Chapter 52 of the <br />American Institute of Parliamentarians, proclaiming the month of April 1998 as <br />Parliamentarian Month. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar for <br />consideration, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each Motion X <br />item; with Councilmember Clifford requesting his vote be shown as "No" on the Second X <br />revision of landscape maintenance regulations ordinance adoption. All Ayes <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />HOME AGREEMENT AMENDMENT - 1365-1371 MAIN <br />The City Council (1) approved the amendment of the HOME Agreement between the <br />City and the Housing Authority of the County of Riverside to provide for the additional <br />Phase I scope of work and Phase II improvements to Breezewood Apartments identified <br />in the written staff report; and (2) authorized the City Manager or his designee to <br />execute the amendment to the standard HOME Agreement with the terms as outlined in <br />the written staff report and such other related documents as are necessary and <br />consistent with this approval. <br /> <br />DISASTER RECOVERY - RESOLUTION <br />The City Council adopted a resolution designating City officials that are authorized to <br />execute disaster recovery applications and documents necessary to receive federal and <br />state disaster area storm funds; whereupon, Resolution No. 19257 of the City of <br />Riverside, California, Designating Certain City Officials as Individuals Authorized to <br />Execute Applications and Documents for the Purpose of Obtaining Financial <br />Assistance Under Federal Civil Defense Act of 1950 as Amended (50 U.S.C. App. <br />2251 Et Seq.); and Repealing Resolution No. 18418, was presented and adopted. <br /> <br /> 83-279 <br /> <br /> <br />
