Motion X <br /> Second X <br /> All Ayes <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br />Mayor Loveridge presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Deputy Fire Marshall Joan <br />Breeding Letbetter, Public Safety Officer for the month of January, who was honored <br />by the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce at Good Morning River-side. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar for Motion X <br />consideration, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each Second X <br />item. All Ayes <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />ZONING CASE CU-003-812 (REVISED) - 1038 LINDEN <br />The City Council upheld the action of the Planning Commission in approving subject to <br />conditions the request of Steve P. Murray, on behalf of The Islamic Society of <br />Riverside, for a revised conditional use permit to expand an existing mosque and <br />associated on-site parking on approximately 3.5 acres developed with a mosque and <br />private school at 1038 Linden Street situated on the southerly side of Linden Street <br />between Iowa Avenue and Canyon Crest Drive, in Zone R-3; upheld the Commission's <br />determination that the proposal would not have a significant effect on the environment; <br />concurred in the adoption of the Negative Declaration; and found there is no evidence <br />that the proposed project will have any potential for adverse effect on wildlife <br />resources, and the impacts of the project are found to be de minimis pursuant to Section <br />711.4 of the Fish and Game Code. <br /> <br />ZONING CASE MP-002-978 - PALMYRITA/MICHIGAN <br />The City Council upheld the Planning Commission's action in approving subject to <br />conditions the request of Carter Group Architects, Inc., representing Magnon <br />Development Company, under Zoning Case MP-002-978, for a proposed industrial <br />plot plan of Carter Redish/Carter Group for an approximately 198,367-square-foot <br />office and warehouse facility on approximately 11.02 vacant acres situated at the <br />southwesterly comer of Palmyrita and Michigan Avenues within the Hunter Park <br />Specific Plan area in Zone MP; upheld the Commission's determination that the <br /> <br /> 83-182 <br /> <br /> <br />
