ANX-078 <br /> <br /> 1 RESOLUTION NO. 19045 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT A MAJORITY <br /> 3 PROTEST HAS BEEN MADE TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION <br /> OF THAT CERTAIN CONTIGUOUS INHABITED TERRITORY <br /> 4 DESIGNATED AS "LAFCO NO. 94-27-5, REORGANIZATION <br /> TO INCLUDE ANNEXATION NO. 78 TO CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br /> 5 AND CONCURRENT DETACHMENT FROM RIVERSIDE COUNTY <br /> WASTE RESOURCES MANAGEMENT DISTRICT", AND <br /> 6 TERMINATING THE PROCEEDINGS. <br /> <br /> 7 WHEREAS on September 26, 1996, the Local Agency Formation <br /> <br />8 Commission of the County of Riverside by its Resolution No. 31-96 <br />9 approved the annexation to the City of Riverside and the <br />10 concurrent detachment from the Riverside County Waste Resources <br />11 Management District, of the approximately 162 acres generally <br />12 located west of the City of Moreno Valley and the former <br />13 Interstate 215/U. S. Highway 395 right-of-way, south of, and <br />14 including, Alessandro Boulevard, east of Barton Road and north of <br />15 Cactus Avenue and March Air Force Base, under the designation <br />16 "LAFCO No. 94-27-5, Reorganization to Include Annexation No. 78 <br />17 to City of Riverside and Concurrent Detachment from Riverside <br />18 County Waste Resources Management District"; and <br />19 WHEREAS on December 10, 1996, in accordance with a Notice <br />20 duly given by the City Clerk as required by law, the City Council <br />21 of the City of Riverside opened its hearing on the proposed <br />22 annexation to the City of Riverside and concurrent detachment <br />23 from Riverside County Waste Resources Management District of that <br />24 certain inhabited territory known as "Annexation No. 78--South <br />25 Alessandro No. 3"; and <br />26 WHEREAS the hearing was continued to February 4, 1997; <br />27 and <br />Attorney's O~ce <br />~reet <br />CA 92522 <br />782-5567 <br /> F:~WPDATA~RES~97027101.BP <br /> <br /> <br />
