1 RESOLUTION NO. 19041 <br /> <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 18899 <br /> 3 ESTABLISHING FEES AND CHARGES FOR CERTAIN CITY <br /> SERVICES BY AMENDING SECTION 20 ENTITLED "LEISURE <br /> 4 AND CULTURAL-RECREATION" BY AMENDING SUBSECTION 5217 <br /> THEREOF RELATING TO PICNIC FACILITIES TO REVISE THE <br /> 5 FEES THEREFOR INCLUDING THE CLEANING DEPOSIT AND <br /> SUBSECTION 5220 RELATING TO PARK AND RECREATION <br /> 6 FACILITY RENTAL TO REVISE THE AMOUNT OF THE CLEANING <br /> DEPOSIT. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 WHEREAS COSt of the services provided by the City of Riverside <br /> 9 is compiled using a "business-type" cost system originally <br /> 10 developed for the City of Riverside by Management Services <br /> 11 Institute ("MSI"); and <br /> 12 WHEREAS each year, the City of Riverside, though its Finance <br /> 13 Department, conducts an analysis of its services, the costs <br /> 14 reasonably borne for providing those services, the beneficiaries of <br /> 15 those services, and the revenues produced by those paying fees and <br /> 16 charges for special services; and <br /> 17 WHEREAS the City Council has adopted Resolution No. 18899 <br /> 18 establishing the Fees and Charges Resolution as of July 1, 1996; <br /> 19 and <br /> 20 WHEREAS the fees and charges for recreational programs of the <br /> 21 Park and Recreation Department of the City of Riverside are set <br /> 22 forth in Section 20 of Resolution No. 18899; and <br /> 23 WHEREAS Subsection 5217 of said Section 20 now provides that <br /> 24 a fee of $10 shall be charged for the reservation of a picnic <br /> 25 facility in a City park; and <br /> <br /> 26 WHEREAS Subsection 5220 of said Section 20 does not <br /> <br /> 27 specifically provide for a cleaning deposit; and <br /> <br />Attorney's Once <br />~reet <br />CA 92522 <br />782-5567 <br /> F:~WPDATA~RES~97021301.BP <br /> <br /> <br />
