RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br /> Board Memorandum <br /> P U B L I C U T i L I r : e s <br /> BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DATE: November 05, 2010 <br /> ITEM NO: 5 <br /> SUBJECT: OVERHEAD CONDUCTOR REPLACEMENT FOR CIRCUIT 444 LOAD RELIEF <br /> WOR.A ORDER NO. 100004-21 <br /> ISSUE: <br /> Board of Public Utilities approval is requested for Work Order No. 100004-21. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> That the Board of Public Utilities approve Work Order No. 100004-21 for the estimated capital <br /> expenditure of$94,000 to make system improvements for Circuit 444. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> This load relief project for Circuit 444 is located north of Sunnyside Drive and west of Pachappa Drive <br /> and will require the replacement of 5500 feet of overhead conductor and the installation of two overhead <br /> switches to relieve possible overload conditions for summer 2011. <br /> The electrical engineer.:ig was performed by Riverside Public Utilities (RPU). Electrical work will be <br /> performed by RPU field '`orces. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> The total estimated cost for Work Order No. 100004-21 is $94,000.
