W A T E R I E N E R 5 Y , L I F E <br /> RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br /> Board Memorandum <br /> P U B L I C U T I L I T I E S <br /> BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DATE: May 21 , 2010 <br /> ITEM NO: 20 <br /> SUBJECT: WATER HIGHLIGHTS — April 2010 <br /> Domestic water production for the month of April 2010, totaled 4,969 acre feet (1,619 million <br /> gallons), with the following resource mix: <br /> • Bunker Hill Basin: 50% <br /> • Riverside Basin: 50% <br /> • Purchased Water: 0% <br /> Peak water usage for the month of April 2010, was 64.3 million gallons per day (mgd)and occurred <br /> on April 8th. <br /> Under the Cooperative Agreement for Water Production and Conveyance with Western Municipal <br /> Water District, 352.6 AF of potable water and 38.2 AF of irrigation water were delivered to WMWD. <br /> 26.5 AF were sold to the Home Gardens Community Services District. <br /> The significant event for the water system in April 2010 was the Waterman 42"shut down for repairs <br /> intermittently between April 12th and April 30th.
