CITIZENS PARTICIPATION <br /> None. <br /> 2. INCREASE ANNUAL PURCHASE ORDER FOR LEGAL SERVICES <br /> Assistant General Manager Resources Nolff discussed the need to increase Thompson Coburn's <br /> Purchase Order from $400,000 to $568,000, and the many benefits and savings derived from using <br /> Thompson Coburn over the last 30+ years. <br /> Motion— Elliot Second—Titus All Ayes <br /> 3. FISCAL YEAR 2070 MID-YEAR BUDGET UPDATE <br /> Utilities Assistant CFO Burns provided a projection of current year's activities based on nine-months of <br /> actual results, with no financial issues anticipated. <br /> 4. FUTURE ENERGY RESOURCE OPTIONS <br /> General Manager Wright discussed power planning activities and potential rate impacts in obtaining <br /> various levels of renewable energy to serve future customer needs,exploring options regarding coal and <br /> future use of the Intermountain Power Plant,with future workshops anticipated to present different options <br /> for consideration. <br /> 5. RELIABILITY CHARGE UPDATE <br /> General Manager Wright provided an update on the Land Use Committee presentation regarding the May <br /> 7, 2010 public hearing to consider potential Reliability Charge adjustments for some small business <br /> customers. <br /> 6. WATER COST OF SERVICE STUDY <br /> Assistant General Manager Finance/Customer Services Kerr updated the Committee on the status of the <br /> Water Cost of Service Study. <br /> 7. GENERAL MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> General Manager Wright requested that the Committee consider also hearing property-related issues. <br /> The item will be included on a future agenda. <br /> 8. ITEMS FOR FUTURE MEETINGS <br /> None. <br />
