RECOGNITION BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES OF THE FOLLOWING PUBLIC <br /> UTILITIES EMPLOYEES FOR THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF COMPLETING THE <br /> REQUIREMENTS WITHIN THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE'S M3P HIGH PERFORMANCE <br /> LEARNING CENTER: <br /> 1. Douglas Bemiller, Jonathan Buckley,Stewart Noble-completed the SOAR Program. <br /> 2. Dennis Benson -completed the SOAR Technology Program. <br /> 3. Rajiv Butala, Joe Carrasco, Viset Ong —completed the SMART Level 1 Program. <br /> 4. Steve Lafond—completed the SMART Level 2 Program. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> Chair Ken Sutter called the public hearing meeting to order at approximately 8:35 a.m. <br /> Chair Sutter stated to the audience that the Board of Public Utilities was holding a public hearing to <br /> receive public input regarding revisions to the City's Electric rates, including and adjustments to the <br /> Reliability charge and temporary waivers of that charge for qualifying customers. Comments of <br /> any individual would be limited to three minutes and would be heard in order of sign up. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Present: Ken Sutter Robert Elliott <br /> Mary Curtin Ian Davidson <br /> Manny Sanchez Darrell Ament <br /> Absent: Bernie Titus(absence due to vacation) <br /> Justin Scott-Coe(absence due to business) <br /> Gustavo Segura (absence due to illness) <br /> Staff Presentation <br /> Prior to receiving public input, the Board requested General Manager Dave Wright to provide a <br /> summary of the issue. <br /> Comments from the Audience <br /> Cindy Roth, president/CEO of the Greater Riverside Chamber of Commerce, and Sharon Tyrrell, <br /> small business owner/member of the GRCC, both spoke supporting the proposal. <br />
