Y 1 1 1 <br /> RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br /> pUB LFC UTFLFTFES Board Memorandum <br /> BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DATE: August 5, 2011 <br /> DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br /> ITEM NO: 16 <br /> SUBJECT: MONTHLY POWER SUPPLY REPORT—June 2011 <br /> POWER USAGE <br /> Total load requirements (including losses) during June 2011 were 159,109 MWh and 35,268 MWh of <br /> sales to the CAISO, of which 194,377 MWh were provided by our resources and purchases. The retail <br /> customer load for June 2011 {153,804 MWh} was 2.7% lower than the retail customer load in June 2010 <br /> (158,119 MWh). The actual peak system demand was 432 MW, compared to actual peak system <br /> demand of 384 MW last year. Energy returns were 0 MWh and 5,305 MWh were attributed to losses <br /> (3.64%). Green power supplied approximately 21,72% of our retail energy requirements. <br /> The City's generation resources were available during the month as follows; <br /> UNIT OPERATION <br /> IPP: IPP units 1 and 2 operated at 87.78% capacity factor for the month. <br /> PVNGS: Palo Verde units 1, 2 and 3 operated at 94.59% capacity factor for the month. <br /> SONGS: SONGS units 2 and 3 operated at 99.90% and 99.95% capacity factor respectively for the <br /> month. <br /> Hoover. 110% of RVSD's entitlement was met for the month. <br /> Clearwater: Clearwater's availability was 100%for the month. <br /> RERC: RERC Station (Units 1,2,3 and 4) availability was 92.95% for the month. <br /> Springs: Springs units 1, 2, 3 and 4 availability was 99.17% for the month. <br /> Salton Sea: The Salton Sea units operated at 99.11% capacity factor for the month. <br /> TRANSMISSION: <br /> Pacific DC: The South to North transmission line is currently derated to 975 MW (ETR 1013112012) <br /> and the North to South transmission line is operational at 2,990 MW. <br /> Attached are the charts of daily peaks and the graphical comparison of demand and energy supplied <br /> from each resource for the months of June 2010 and June 2011. <br /> AA <br /> Attachments <br /> cc: Bradley J.
