F N E R L Y I l l f <br /> RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br /> Board Memorandum <br /> P U B L I C U T I L I T I E S <br /> BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DATE: August 5, 2011 <br /> ITEM NO: 6 <br /> SUBJECT: CIRCUIT 1300 LOAD RELIEF PROJECT-WORK ORDER NO. 1104086 <br /> ISSUE: <br /> Board of Public Utilities approval is requested for Work Order No. 1104086. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> That the Board of Public Utilities approve the estimated capital expenditure of $80,000 for the Circuit <br /> 1300 Load Relief Project to replace cable and install overhead devices on First Street, between Orange <br /> and Mulberry Streets. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> This load relief project for Circuit 1300 will require the replacement of cable and the installation of <br /> switching equipment to relieve possible overload conditions for summer 2011. The proposed project <br /> includes work on First Street, between Orange and Mulberry Streets (see Attachment 1). The proposed <br /> project involves the replacement of 1200 feet of overhead cable, and the installation of two (2) overhead, <br /> pole mounted devices. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> The total estimated cost for Work Order No. 1104085 is $80,000. Funds are budgeted and available for <br /> this project in the Line Rebuilds Account No. 6130000-470503. <br /> Prepared by: Stephen H.
