INTRODUCTIONS <br /> 2. CITIZEN'S PARTICIPATION <br /> None <br /> 3. ANNEXATION UPDATE <br /> Electrical Engineering Manager George Hanson presented a PowerPoint showing the sixteen annexation <br /> areas where City of Riverside residents are currently served by SCE. The presentation listed annexations <br /> in priority order based upon feedback from residents, annexation date,budget constraints,and proximity to <br /> other annexed areas. RPU and SCE have put a team together, committed to moving through the priority <br /> list. The annexation team has been meeting for the last six months and will be meeting on January 19, <br /> 2011 to discuss annexation areas 95 and 99 (Two Trees and North Orange). During this meeting both <br /> RPU and SCE's legal team will begin the process utilizing a friendly Condemnation approach. Staff will <br /> bring future actions required to support the annexation effort back to RPU Board for approval. <br /> Following discussion, the Electric Committee received and filed the report. <br /> 4. SUB-TRANSMISSION PROJECT(STP) UPDATE <br /> Electrical Engineering Manager George Hanson updated the committee regarding the Sub-Transmission <br /> Project(STP). Currently, construction of Phase 1 is nearing completion. Design work supporting Phase 2 <br /> is nearly complete. All remaining work including substation work for Phase 2 will complete May 2012. The <br /> community has expressed some concern over the shiny steel poles. RPU has addressed all concerns and <br /> also provided a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)document translated in both English and Spanish for <br /> this project. <br /> Following discussion, the Electric Committee received and filed the report. <br /> 5. RIVERSIDE TRANSMISSION RELIABILITY PROJECT(RTRP) UPDATE <br /> Deputy General Manager Steve Badgett updated the committee regarding the environmental schedule of <br /> Riverside Transmission Reliability Project (RTRP). Currently, RPU is working to have the Draft <br /> Environmental Impact Report(DEIR) out for public review in February 2011. The public review period will <br /> be for 60 days. At the end of the review period it will then be presented to the Planning Commission for <br />
