The Information <br /> Technology (IT) Department, which manages computer resources for RPU, estimates additional storage <br /> needs related to Cl S,GIS and power resource market operations and analytics will require additional storage <br /> of approximately 24 tera-bytes. The IT Department has developed a server and storage strategy that will <br /> satisfy these storage requirements and provide adequate redundancy and flexibility to meet the needs of <br /> Public Utilities. <br /> New storage would be procured by the IT Department under their existing hardware contracts. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT. <br /> The estimated cost to purchase the required hardware is $300,000.
