The Project will improve various stretches of Van Buren Boulevard <br /> between Garfield Street and Colorado Avenue. The street improvements are broken into small portions <br /> affecting nine existing wood poles that will need to be relocated, and approximately 55 feet of <br /> underground conduit and cable. The relocated structures were designed with consideration given to the <br /> surrounding aesthetics. <br /> The electrical engineering design was performed by Riverside Public Utilities (RPU). Electrical work will <br /> be performed by a combination of contract crews and RPU field forces. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> The total estimated cost for Work Order No. 1219297 is $127,800.
