Marilyn Whitney spoke regarding <br />Agricultural Park testing. Scott Andrews spoke regarding Agricultural Park <br />testing. Jason Hunter spoke regarding the Utility reserve policies. Errol <br />Koschewitz spoke regarding welfare and food stamp programs. <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />The City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for a closed <br />session pursuant to Government Code §54956.9(d)(4) to confer with and/or <br />receive advice from legal counsel concerning one case of anticipated <br />litigation. <br />The City Council recessed at 3:17 p.m. and reconvened at 4:23 p.m. in the <br />Art Pick Council Chamber with Mayor Bailey presiding and all <br />Councilmembers present except Councilmember Burnard. <br />MAYOR/COUNCILMEMBER COMMUNICATIONS <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION DISCUSSIONS <br />City Attorney Geuss announced that on August 25, 2015, the City Council <br />authorized settlement of Holger Bargeron v. City of Riverside, et. al., <br />RCSC Case No. RIC1402919 for $50,000. The case successfully settled for <br />$50,000. August 25, 2015, the City Council unanimously extended an offer <br />on the claim of Steven and Eunice Kim, Claim No. 15-03-24, which <br />subsequently settled for $15,000. <br />The City Council adjourned at 4:24 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />CYA <br />L <br />COLL EMI.
