The approval of the regular meeting minutes from the Board of Public Utilities meeting <br /> held on June 19, 2009 were approved as submitted. <br /> Motion — Curtin. Second —Scott-Coe. <br /> Ayes: Sutter, Curtin, Titus, Davidson, Sanchez, Scott-Coe, and Segura. <br /> Noes: None. <br /> Abstain: None. <br /> Absent: Bob Stockton (absence due to business) <br /> Robert Elliott (absence due to vacation) <br /> CITIZENS PARTICIPATION <br /> (1) Mary Humboldt, resident at 7407 Dufferin Avenue, Riverside, delivered a letter(attached) <br /> to the Board regarding billing of her fire hydrant meter. The Board requested that this <br /> concern be addressed at a future Water Committee meeting. <br /> Ms. Humboldt also requested that staff possibly look into having energy-efficient light bulb <br /> drop offs at community accessible areas such as libraries, fire stations, etc. <br /> (2) Mr.Tom Evans, resident and a Western Municipal Water District(WMWD) Board Member, <br /> spoke on behalf of WMWD milestones that may be of interest to Riverside Public Utilities <br /> (RPU): <br /> (a) Final Workshop on Water Rights to Recharge Seven Oaks Dam to be held in <br /> Sacramento, CA on October 7, 2009. <br /> (b) Metropolitan-Inland Water Feeder to Diamond Valley Lake has been completed <br /> early and under budget. <br /> (c) Water Transport Agreement with WMWD has helped WMWD and RPU. <br />
