Forty-three people spoke on the matter. The public hearing <br />was officially closed. Following discussion, motion was made and seconded <br />to (1) adopt an interim ordinance for a temporary moratorium on land use <br />entitlements and building permits for industrial or manufacturing uses and <br />for development on properties zoned Business and Manufacturing Park <br />(BMP) or General Industrial (I) within the Northside Neighborhood ("Plan <br />Area"), as depicted in the written staff report, in conjunction with the July 14, <br />2015, City Council direction to initiate a Northside Specific Plan; and <br />Motion <br />X <br />(2) except any permit for additions, tenant improvements, repairs, signs, and <br />Second <br />X <br />the like for existing permitted uses.
