A version of the presentation was given at the recent California <br />Preservation Foundation annual conference in San Diego (with one <br />section by Dr. Jill Watts of California State University San Marcos rather <br />than Ms. Delcamp). Ms. Gettis provided an overview, an introduction to <br />Riverside's history, how we are utilizing a variety of outreach methods, and <br />various digital resources used for the city's Google Landmarks viewer, <br />mobile device app, and the current citywide Storytelling program. Ms. <br />Delcamp gave an overview on digital history programs in higher education, <br />the tools that are available as resources for not only presenting history but <br />also interpreting and analyzing history, and introduced a new Riverside <br />women's history website. Mr. Richardson presented the City's new mobile <br />device app that presents the City's Landmarks in an easy to use, and open <br />source, environment for both Android and Apple devices. <br />Brief Report From The Historic Preservation Officer On Recent City <br />Council Actions And Major Development Projects <br />Ms. Gettis updated the Board on recent City Council actions. <br />DRAFT - Cultural Heritage Board Minutes — July 15, 2015 Page 1 of 2 <br />
