The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the flag. PLANNING/ZONING MATTERS FROM THE AUDIENCE There were no oral comments at this time. Christopher Sutton, 586 La Loma Road, Pasadena, CA 91105 — Mr. Sutton came to the meeting to represent the Berklin Family from Riverside Rent-a-Space. He passed out objection letter for the vacation of Diana Street listing conflict of interest issues (1090 violations). He stated he would be back when the case was rescheduled. Mr. Sutton spoke on Item#3, which was taken off agenda due to a lack of quorum. Rich Gardner — 8268 Oakhurst Place, Riverside. Mr. Gardner stated that through personal experience he has learned that obtaining proper caregivers is very difficult. He proposed geriatric care facility at a property on Merrill Street. There is a growing need for geriatric care and hopefully it will be a drought-resistant industry. He mentioned externships for students from the nursing program from California Baptist University, UCR and Riverside City College. He would like someone to guide him with the process and left his card for staff to contact him. PUBLIC HEARINGS PLANNING CASES P14-1053 and P14-1054 — 1750 Dan Kipper Drive Motion M Proposal by David Ball of CT Realty to consider a Parcel Map to subdivide Second S three existing parcels, totaling 13.08 acres into 5 lots to facilitate the All Ayes X X X X development of five warehouse buildings ranging in size from 36,424 to 53.006 square feet in size. Brian Norton, Associate Planner, provided staff report. Applicant David Ball provided background information regarding CT Realty, he complimented staff on a good job for their work on the project, and provided information on how CT Realty addressed any and all issues that would impact residents surrounding the project area. He then presented Michael Dickerson of RK Engineering Group, 4000 W. Newport Beach, CA who provided information about the noise studies. Frank Geraci from Voit Real Estate Services, 3280 E. Guasti Road, Ste. 100, Ontario, CA provided information on the economics of the area and how the project would affect the inland empire economy. Steve Whyld, Ex.
