Following <br /> discussion the Cultural Heritage Board: 1. Determined that Planning Motion X <br /> Case P14-0578 is consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards Second X <br /> for the Treatment of Historic Properties, which is categorically exempt All Ayes X X X X X <br /> from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> per Section 15331 of the CEQA Guidelines; and 2. Approved Planning <br /> Case P14-0578 based on the findings outlined in the staff report, subject <br /> to staff's recommended conditions, thereby issuing a Certificate of <br /> Appropriateness. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS PLANNING AND ZONING ITEMS <br /> PRESENTATION ON TWO CONSULTANT SERVICES CONTRACTS: 1) <br /> RIVERSIDE STORYTELLING AND 2) RIVERSIDE HISTORIC <br /> PRESERVATION AMBASSADOR TRAINING <br /> Erin Gettis, Historic Preservation Officer, stated that she will be managing <br /> a project with the consultant, Historic Resources Group, on a series of <br /> public meetings (5 different communities) to determine common themes. <br /> After the themes have been identified, staff will do oral histories with the <br /> community. She stated this would be similar to Los Angeles' Shades of <br /> Grey program. Ms. Gettis indicated she would be asking for the Board's <br /> assistance and at the community meetings and will advise the Board of <br /> the meeting dates once those are determined. <br /> Teri Delcamp, Historic Preservation Senior Planner, stated she would be <br /> Cultural Heritage Board Minutes—July 16,2014 Page 1 of 3 <br />
