A T H E <br /> A <br /> ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL v <br /> 3900 MAIN STREET <br /> City o.}Arts &Innovation Z <br /> WARDS C C <br /> 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 W w <br /> 1 � <br /> Roll Call: Present A X X A X X X X <br /> Chair Heru called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m. with all members <br /> present, except Board Members Murrieta and Schulte <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the flag. <br /> COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br /> There were no oral comments at this time. <br /> DISCUSSION CALENDAR <br /> PLANNING CASE P14-0360 —4570 Sunnyside Drive <br /> Certificate of Appropriateness requested by Cleve Stevens, on behalf of <br /> the Riverside Housing Development Corporation (RHDC), for construction <br /> of a new 1,400 square foot, single story single family residence with a 441 <br /> square foot detached garage within the Palm Heights Historic District at <br /> 4570 Sunnyside Drive Teri Delcamp, Senior Historic Preservation <br /> Planner, informed the Board that a letter was received and distributed <br /> today, in support of the project from the Riverside Historical Society. <br /> Cleve Stevens, RHDC, stated that they would request the Board consider Motion X <br /> vinyl windows versus wood sash windows and emphasized the Second X <br /> maintenance issue associated with these type of windows. Following Ayes X X X <br /> discussion the Cultural Heritage Board: 1. Determined that Planning No X <br /> Case P14-0360 constitutes a project that is consistent with the Secretary <br /> of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties, which <br /> is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act (CEQA) per Section 15331 of the CEQA Guidelines; and 2. <br /> Approved Planning Case P14-0360 and issued a Certificate of <br /> Appropriateness, based on the findings outlined in the staff report, subject <br /> to modifications to staff's recommended conditions: 5d. The sets of <br /> paired windows on the north (front) elevation and the first two single hung <br /> windows on the west (side) elevations are publicly visible within the <br /> Historic District and shall be "high quality vinyl windows with exterior <br /> simulated true divides (such as Milgard "Tuscany" or Montecito" series or <br /> similar) to the satisfaction of the CHB staff. All other windows may be <br /> vinyl or similar quality alternative material either with or without exterior <br /> divides." And 5e. The vinyl windows with exterior simulated true divides <br /> shall be multi (six or eight lights)-over-single pane to the satisfaction of <br /> CHB staff.
