Teri Delcamp, <br />Historic Preservation Senior Planner, presented the staff report. <br />Applicant, Cliff Ratkovich, provided background information about the <br />project and stated he was available to answer any questions. Comments <br />from the audience: The following members of the public all came up to <br />express their support for the project: Janice Penner, Executive Director <br />of the Riverside Downtown Partnership (RDP), Gary Christmas - <br />Raincross Group, Gary Montgomery - Downtown Business Council, <br />Michael Johnston - Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, Scott <br />Geiser - The Pick Group of Young Professionals, Dave Leonard - Old <br />Riverside Foundation for Historic Preservation, Peter Mobley — resident <br />of Riverside and member of the Pick Group of Young Professionals. <br />Following discussion, the Cultural Heritage Board 1) Determined that <br />Planning Case P15 -0249 is exempt from the California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15331 and 15332 since the <br />project, as conditioned, constitutes in -fill development that is consistent <br />with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic <br />Properties; and 2) Approved Planning Case P15 -0249 based on the <br />findings outlined in the staff report and subject to the staff recommended <br />conditions, thereby issuing a Certificate of Appropriateness for the <br />project. <br />Cultural Heritage Board Minutes — May 20, 2015 Pagel of 3 <br />
