RESOLUTION NO. 682 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE CONSENTING TO A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING WITH RESPECT TO THE AMENDED AND RESTATED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE CASA BLANCA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT, AMENDMENT NO.3, AND THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED IN CONNECTION THEREWITH WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside (the "Agency") has initiated an amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the Casa Blanca Redevelopment Project, Amendment No, 3, to extend the Agency's time limit to incur debt to 2014; extend eminent domain authority to 2013; and update the Redevelopment Plan map to reflect recent changes to the City of Riverside General Plan land use diagram; and WHEREAS, Section 33458 of the Community Redevelopment Law (the "CRL") (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq,), states that the City Council of the City of Riverside (the "City Council") and the Agency may hold a joint public hearing on the proposed amendment if both consent thereto; and WHEREAS, Section 33452 of the CRL requires that a notice of said public hearing be published in a newspaper of general circulation, and be mailed to each property owner, resident, business, and affected taxing agency, NOW, THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside hereby resolves as follows: Section 1: The Agency hereby consents to a joint public hearing with the City Council on the proposed Amended and Restated Redevelopment Plan for the Casa Blanca Redevelopment Project, Amendment No, 3, and the Negative Declaration prepared in connection therewith at the following date, time, and place, or such other date, time, and place as may be determined by the City Clerk: Date: Tuesday, June 5, 2001 Time: 2 p,m" or as soon thereafter as possible Place: Council Chambers City of Riverside 3900 Main Street Riverside, CA 92501 Section 2: The Secretary of the Agency, in cooperation with the City Clerk, is authorized and directed to give n"t;ice of such public hearing in the form and manner required by law, ADOPTED, SIGNED, AND APPROVED this 17th day of April, 2001.
