RIVERSIDE CITY COLLEGE STUDENT SERVICES AND ADMINISTRATION BUILDING - WORK ORDER NO. 1412378 ISSUE: The item for Board of Public Utilities consideration is approval of the capital expenditure in the amount of $51,572 for City - provided construction services associated with the development of Riverside City College Student Services and Administration Building located at 4800 Magnolia Avenue. RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Public Utilities approve Work Order No. 1412378 in the amount of $51,572 which includes City - provided construction services associated with the development of Riverside City College Student Services and Administration Building located at 4800 Magnolia Avenue.. BACKGROUND: In order to support RCC's new student and administration building located at 4800 Magnolia Avenue, the Riverside Public Utilities (RPU) Water Division will construct one 4 -inch domestic water service with a 3- inch water meter, one 4 -inch fire service, and relocate an existing fire hydrant from Fairfax Avenue to Magnolia Avenue. RCC paid the required fees and charges as set forth in Water Rules 10 and 11 in the amount of $76,873 of which, $51,572 is allocated towards the construction related services provided by RPU. FISCAL IMPACT: The total capital expenditure for Work Order No. 1412378 is estimated to be $51,572. Sufficient funds are available in the Public Utilities' Water System Expansion Account No. 6230000 - 470701. The expenditures are covered by the fees RCC paid in conformance with Water Rules 10 and 11. Prepared by: Kevin S.
