No formal <br />action was required or taken. <br />RECESS <br />The City Council recessed at 12:46 p.m. and reconvened at 3 p.m. in the Art <br />Pick Council Chamber. <br />The Invocation was given by Councilmember Gardner. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br />MAYOR/COUNCILMEMBER COMMUNICATIONS <br />BRIEF STATUS REPORTS FOR REGIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, <br />CONFERENCES, SEMINARS, AND MEETINGS ATTENDED BY MAYOR <br />AND CITY COUNCIL - WARD UPDATES - ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Councilmember Melendrez reported on the Neighborhood USA Conference. <br />Councilmember Davis reported on the Neighborhood USA Conference and <br />a community meeting at Orange Terrace Community Center. <br />Councilmember Perry reported on a Public Works street crew ride -a -long. <br />Councilmember Soubirous reported on the Hunter Hobby Park luncheon <br />and tour; the City Council Regatta, golf, and lawn bowling fundraiser; and <br />the Janet Goeske Golf Classic and annual July 4th luncheon. <br />Councilmember Mac Arthur reported on the GrowRiverside Conference and <br />Citrus Circle Dinner. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />Don Gallegos spoke regarding elections and the Agricultural Park. <br />Ms. Miller spoke regarding Planning Cases P06-0212 and P06-0544 <br />(La Sierra Villas) and medical marijuana dispensaries. Theresa Newham <br />spoke regarding the Westcoast Blues class at Bordwell Park.
