1 RESOLUTION NO. 19232 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 19010 <br />3 ESTABLISHING THE FRINGE BENEFITS FOR CITY EMPLOYEES <br /> BY AMENDING SECTION 13 RELATING TO AUTOMOBILE <br />4 ALLOWANCE AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES TO INCREASE <br /> THE AUTOMOBILE ALLOWANCE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY <br />5 <br />6 The City Council of the City of Riverside, California <br />7 does resolve as follows: <br />8 Section 1: <br />9 Section 13 of Resolution No. 19010 is hereby amended to <br />10 read as follows to provide that the automobile allowance shall be <br />11 increased to the Internal Revenue Service allowed maximum per <br />12 mile reimbursement of thirty-two and one half cents (32~¢) per <br />13 mile from the previously set amount of thirty-one cents (31¢) per <br />14 mile, which Section 13 shall read as follows: <br />15 "Section 13. AUTOMOBILE ALLOWANCE AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR <br />16 EXPENSES <br />17 Any officer or employee who is required to use said <br />18 employee's personal automobile in the course of employment with <br />19 the City shall be reimbursed for each mile actually traveled on <br />20 official business at the rate of thirty-two and one-half cents <br />21 (32~¢) per mile. <br />22 Any officer or employee who is required to travel in the <br />23 performance of his or her duties or to attend an authorized <br />24 meeting or conference which is of benefit to the City shall be <br />25 reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred for transportation, <br />26 meals, lodging and incidentals.
