IVY A <br />01 -1 101 P 8- Im -9 1 W <br />Board Memorandum <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DATE: February 7, 2014 <br />ITEM NO: 4 <br />SUBJECT: WILDWOOD WAY EMERGENCY PIPELINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br />The issue for Board of Public Utilities consideration is approval of an expenditure in the amount of $75,754 <br />for the emergency water main replacement and pavement repairs for a water main break on Wildwood Way <br />between Conway and Holly Lanes (Attachment 1). <br />That the Board of Public Utilities approve the expenditures of $75,754, which includes the emergency water <br />main replacement and pavement repairs for the water main break on Wildwood Way between Conway and <br />Holly Lanes. <br />I ft D M k-OTOWL <br />Water Field Division staff expedited and executed a replacement plan on Friday December 27 and <br />Field Division forces installed all 270 lineal feet of new pipe on Monday December 30. System connections <br />and service tie overs were completed on January 7, 2014, The Public Works Department Street Division <br />completed the trench paving replacement on January 17, 2014. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />The total expenditure for this emergency replacement project is $75,754, including construction an(sw <br />pavement repairs. Sufficient funds are available in the Public Utilities'Water Main Replacement Account N <br />6230000-470707. <br />Prepared by: Todd L.
