Review of Minutes: The minutes of the September 17, 2014 meeting were approved as presented. 3. Public Comments: - Councilmember Soubirous Accommodations for Deaf Individuals in Assisted Living Facilitie said a community member approached him asking what accommodation for deaf individuals in Riverside assisted living facilities. He asked MDCC members they would feel about encouraging local facilities to have emploL on their staffs. Laurie Waggoner suggested training on how to interact with the d Antha Ward suggested roving interpreters who would make schedule facilities each week. Councilmember Soubirous indicated he will check with a couple facilities to find out if they are interested. 4. Reports/Follow-Up: Tre Members reviewed the attached summary for the month ending October 31, 2014 reflecting MDCC funds as follows: BBVA = $14,913.70 and City account = $8,813.98. Total funds available as of October 31, 2014 equal $23,727.68.
