Review of Minutes: The minutes of the June 18, 2014 and July 23, 2014 meetings were reviewed with the following correction: June 18, 2014 Page Two Miscellaneous Items #1 Change to read: 3. Public Comments: Introductions Beatriz Reyes, with IEHP, introduced herself and said she will a MDCC meetings. Josh Mayer introduced himself as a new Assistant to Mayor Bailey. 4. Reports/Follow-Up: Tre Members reviewed the attached summary for the month ending July 31, 2014 reflecting MDCC funds as follows: BBVA = $16,177.64 and City accounts = $9,487.61. Total funds available as of July 31, 2014 equal $25,665.25. Jetta Hice informed the Committee members that each time a meeting is scheduled, but a quorum is n for the ASL interpreters. Consequently, when it is necessary toeeting in a month, the interpretation costs total $520.00. These extra charges can be avoided if the ASL interpreters are canceled 48 hours, or more, in advance. ADA Accommodation at Special Events Ad Hoc Committee Report Postponed.
