BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DATE: NOVEMBER 21, 2014 <br />ITEM NO: 5 <br />SUBJECT: UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION FOR THE SYCAMORE CANYON <br />DEVELOP <br />:# <br />The issue for Board of Public Utilities consideration is approval of a $76,000 capltal expenditure for Work <br />Order No.1502846 for the installation of electrical distribution facilities for the Sycamore Canyon <br />'V - , <br />That the Board of Public Utilities approve the estimated $76,000 capital expenditure for Work Order No. <br />1502846 for the installation of electrical distribution facilities for the Sycamore Canyon Development. <br />i"' tl Zion z I q <br />The work order will extend existing electrical distribution facillities to serve a new commercial warehouse <br />for the Sycamore Canyon Development located at 6150 Sycamore Canyon Boulevard. The work <br />includes the installation of approximately 1,660 trench feet of conduit, one pad-mounted transformer, one <br />rt-! underground .R street and related electrical facilities. <br />.,a-'%,'ivers'l'de Public Utilities (RPU) engineering staff performed the design to eliminate any negative visual <br />.mpacts to the project and surrounding area, with sensitivity to the existing neighborhood, and within City <br />Planning guidelines for the designated area for the project. <br />UZ3 =ap=- . Consistent with Electric Rules 10 and <br />11 , the expenditure will be reimbursed by the developer, less system betterment of $22,800. <br />
