The minutes from March 10, 2015 were approved. <br />Motion: D. Barnhart <br />Second: D. Fadakar <br />Ayes: All <br /> <br />CHAIRMAN’S REPORT <br />2. Update on Metropolitan Museum Board Standing Rules revisions <br />Elio emailed his suggested addition to the Standing Rules in March. The document is currently with the <br />City Attorney’s office for review. The draft document will be presented to the Board again before <br />adoption is made. <br />D. Barnhart suggested another edit under Item 10- Furthermore, in the event that any provision of the <br />Standing Rules becomes inconsistent with the Charter or Municipal Code (insert: or any action of the <br />City Council), the affected provision of the Standing Rules shall be deemed amended to make said <br />provision consistent… <br />The suggestion was motioned for approval to include in the document for review by the City attorney. <br />Motion: D. Discussion on Metropolitan Museum Board role for Harada House <br />This item was to discuss the Museum Board’s involvement in any major activities or committees related <br />to the Harada House. The item was postponed to allow for the S. Mundy to be present for the discussion. <br /> <br />REPORT ON MUSEUM OPERATIONS <br />S. Mundy gave a brief report that the budget process is continuing. The Museum has to justify its <br />original allocation. The Museum will be hosting a fundraising event featuring the documentary by <br />Samantha Cheng. Ms. Cheng will be looking for a host site to allow her to extend her stay in Riverside a <br />few more days if anyone would like to host her in their home. S. Mundy and Ann Lovell will represent <br />the Museum at the 2015 American Alliance of Museums (AAM) conference in Atlanta, GA. The focus <br />will be on the Museum’s upcoming re-accreditation. <br /> <br />4:11pm- S. Mundy departed the meeting to attend a volunteer recognition event. <br /> <br />4. Arts and Cultural Affairs Division (ACAD) update <br /> <br />The written report was included with the Board packet. M. Haupt reported that her office is now located <br />at the Main Museum and the Museum has re-hired Gema Ramirez as Project Coordinator for ACAD and <br />
