They were called out to assess the property due to movement in the structure
and basement. There has been water intrusion from storms that has compromised the foundation and the
interior supports of the structure are being compromised. The cost estimate is at $0.5 million. The
current focus is on diverting water away from the structure from any rainfall, especially with El Nino
anticipated this winter.

A PowerPoint graduate project presentation was given by Carol McDoniel on the Harada House exhibit
Plan for the Robinson Interpretation Center. Her exhibit plan uses the existing square footage of
Robinson House apartment one. Her plan is not a design plan but a content plan only and will be given
to Museum staff to edit as needed for the space. Her exhibit gives a chronological story of the Harada
Family and their story.

REPORT ON MUSEUM OPERATIONS
Arts and Cultural Affairs Division (ACAD) update
4.
