The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the flag. PLANNING/ZONING MATTERS FROM THE AUDIENCE There were no oral comments at this time. PUBLIC HEARINGS PLANNING CASES P13-0719 — 3775 Tyler Street CONTINUED Ceazar Aguilar, applicant, requested a continuance to the meeting of March 20, 2014 and staff concurred. Chair Wade asked if there was Motion X anyone in the audience who would like to speak to the continuance of this Second X proposal. No one came forward. The Planning Commission continued All Ayes X X X X X Planning Case P13-0719 to the meeting of March 20, 2014 as requested by the applicant. PLANNING CASES P13-0563 and P13-0564 —8069 Indiana Avenue Proposal by Vikram Kamdar to consider a Street Vacation to vacate Susan Street, between Indiana Avenue and State Route 91, to facilitate the expansion of Singh Subaru Dealership; and the Design Review of the plot plan and building elevations related to the construction of an approximately 7,373 square-foot addition to the east of the existing Singh Subaru showroom building. There were no comments from the audience. Following discussion, the Planning Commission recommended that the City Council: 1) Determine that the proposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment based on the findings set forth in the Motion X case record and adopt a Negative Declaration; 2) Approve Planning Second X Cases P13-0563 (Vacation) and P13-0564 (Design Review) based on the Ayes X X X X X findings outlined in the staff report subject to the recommended revised conditions; with modification to conditions including: 1) Integration of complimentary architecture on the service bay building elevation, 2) Relocation of the service doors and roll up door facing Indiana Avenue to the east elevation facing Susan Street, 3) Integration of architectural details and building materials; including aluminum composite panels (blue stripe), spandrel glass, split face block, stone and other elements for consistency with the existing building.
