The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the flag. PLANNING/ZONING MATTERS FROM THE AUDIENCE There were no oral comments at this time. PUBLIC HEARINGS PLANNING CASE P14-0359—Zoning Code Amendment, alcohol sales Continued to August 21, 2014 Chair Riggle announced that the applicant for item 6, P14-0359 has Motion X requested a continuance. The item was taken out of order and the Second X Commission motioned to continue Planning Case P14-0359 to the All Ayes X X X X X X X X meeting of August 21, 2014 as requested by the applicant. PLANNING CASE P13-0114—4334 Vine Street Proposal by Verizon Wireless on behalf of Riverside Mandarin Baptist Church to consider a Conditional Use Permit to construct a 60-foot high wireless telecommunications facility camouflaged as a pine tree on an approximately 2.2 acre three-parcel site partially developed with the Riverside Mandarin Baptist Church. James Rogers, Verizon Wireless, stated they were in agreement with the conditions. There were no comments from the audience. Following discussion the Planning Commission recommended that the City Council: 1) Determine that this Motion X proposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment Second X based on the findings set forth in the case record and recommend the All Ayes X X X X X X X X adoption of a Negative Declaration; 2) Approve Planning Case P14-0114 (CU) based on the findings in the staff report and subject to the recommended conditions. The Commission wished to clarify that the approval was for a 40-foot monopine with the 20-foot increase allowed by Federal law for a total of 60-feet. PLANNING CASES P14-0315 and P14-0437—4334 Vine Street Proposal by Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) to consider a revised Conditional Use Permit and Design Review of a plot plan and building elevations related to the construction of an approximately 3,150 square-foot security operations building for the adjacent Downtown Metrolink Station.
